How it works

How RevenueTie follows a lead from the first click to the final payment.

Ten steps, one record. Here’s what happens in RevenueTie from the moment your ads start spending to the moment you can see which campaigns brought in revenue.

  1. ConnectAd accounts and phone numbers
  2. CaptureCalls and web enquiries
  3. Follow upCalls, texts, reminders
  4. BookAppointments on calendars
  5. QuoteEstimates and deposits
  6. InvoiceInvoices and payments
  7. ReviewSpend compared with revenue

The ten steps

Every step adds to the same lead record. Nothing needs to be exported, matched or re-typed later to answer “where did this revenue come from?”.

  1. Connect advertising sources

Sign in to Google Ads and Meta Ads and pick the ad accounts to connect. RevenueTie syncs your campaigns and daily spend, and you map platform campaigns to your own campaign tree of channels, networks and campaigns.

Spend you pay outside those platforms, such as directory listings or a monthly invoice, can be added by hand.

  2. Capture and identify enquiries

Website forms send leads with their UTM parameters and click IDs. Tracking rules match those values to a campaign. Calls and texts arrive from Quo, and each campaign-specific number is mapped to the campaign it advertises.

Calls to a number that isn’t mapped to a campaign still create leads, but without campaign attribution.

  3. Create source-aware leads

Each enquiry becomes a lead that keeps its source for good. Leads can be assigned automatically to an owner based on their source, campaign, channel or network, or to a default owner.

  4. Manage interactions and follow-ups

The lead’s timeline shows calls with available summaries and transcripts, texts, notes and files. Follow-ups get a due date, a priority and an owner, so the next action is always clear.

  5. Schedule appointments

Book a consultation, measurement or service visit on the right calendar and assign team members. The appointment stays linked to the lead and appears on its timeline.

  6. Prepare and send estimates

Build an estimate from your products and services, add discounts, tax and a deposit, and send it to the client. When it’s sent, the lead can move to the matching funnel stage automatically.

  7. Record approvals and deposits

When the client approves or pays a deposit, record it on the estimate. Approved estimate value becomes part of your reporting straight away.

  8. Manage delivery and invoices

Book the installation or service appointment, then create the invoice from the approved estimate when the work is done. Deposits already received are carried over.

  9. Record payments

Record each payment as it arrives, with method and reference. RevenueTie doesn’t process payments; it records what your business received.

  10. Review marketing performance and revenue

The dashboard and campaign reports compare spend with leads, approved estimates and collected revenue by channel and campaign. Supported conversion events and values can be sent back to connected ad platforms.

Why the connection matters

When the source travels with the lead, every later step can be traced back to it.

  • Spend and revenue can be compared by campaign without spreadsheets
  • Leads without a next action are easy to spot
  • Owners see the same numbers as the team that produced them
  • Ad platforms can receive signals about later outcomes, not only the first enquiry

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to get started?

It depends on how many ad accounts, phone numbers and team members you’re connecting, and how much of your process you want to configure. You can do it yourself, or use our setup and implementation service.

Do I need to change my phone system?

Call attribution works through the Quo integration, using a dedicated number for each campaign you want to track. If you already use Quo, you connect it; if you don’t, we can talk through the setup during your demo.

What happens to leads from sources without tracking?

They’re still captured and managed in the same way. Leads with no tracking signal are grouped as direct, and leads whose signal doesn’t match a tracking rule are grouped as unclassified, so they stay visible in your reports.

Can I add leads by hand?

Yes. Leads from referrals, walk-ins or other sources can be entered by your team, and they follow the same journey.
